Arts and Culture at HGHS

At HGHS we not only nurture our arts students’ creativity within the classroom, we aim to provide a range of opportunities for our entire student body to appreciate the value of art and culture for the wellbeing of themselves and their communities.

This is achieved through an extracurricular programme of appreciation and participation – clubs, groups and activities that range from exhibitions, publications and performance, to workshops, speakers and field trips. These ventures allow students to not only further their practise, but to also serve the school in a variety of capacities, develop leadership and gain insight into the world of art and culture beyond school.
