Sport and Physical Education are an important aspect to the overall health and well-being of all of our students.
Here at Hamilton Girls’ High School the PE and Health department take great pride in being part of your daughters overall development.
We will endeavour to enable our students to reach their potential by giving them the opportunity to develop the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and motivation to make informed decisions and to act in ways that contribute to their personal wellbeing (hauora). This will, in turn, contribute to the well-being of other people and that of society as a whole.
Our 10 Sport programme builds a foundation for our students to lead into NCEA level 1 Sport and Outdoors. The senior programme for PE & Health goes across all 3 levels and offers a wide range of courses and assessments, including university entrance.
