APPLICATION PROCESS
To apply to study at Hamilton Girls’ High School, you need to add these documents when completing the online application. The application form will show you where to upload these documents.
– A copy of the student’s passport
– A copy of the student’s most recent school reports
ENROLMENT PROCESS
Once we receive the student’s application, we ask to meet them either online or face to face. This is a great opportunity for potential students to ask questions about studying in New Zealand.
If a student is accepted to study at Hamilton Girls’ High School, a Conditional Offer of Place and Invoice is sent.
Details on how to pay are listed on the bottom of the invoice.
As soon as the invoice is paid, the International Office will send a receipt for the fees and a Confirmed Offer of Place.
The Confirmed Offer of Place is used to apply for a Student Visa through Immigration New Zealand.
VISA INFORMATION
International Students must have a current Student Visa or student permit to attend high school in New Zealand for a course of 3 months or more. The Student Visa application can be submitted online to New Zealand Immigration.
Full details of visa and permit requirements and advice on rights to employment in New Zealand while studying are available through the New Zealand Immigration Service, and can be viewed on their website at http://www.immigration.govt.nz.
FEE PROTECTION
Hamilton Girls’ High School confirms that the fees paid by international students for educational instruction in New Zealand are secure and protected in the event of student withdrawal, the ending of educational instruction, or the closure of the signatory.
